Beer festival gets theDe La Warr rocking
Bexhill’s De La Warr Pavilion became a modernist temple to one of the fast growing craft beer movement last weekend.
Beer, more now than ever, is being treated with the seriousness and respect afforded to wine. Hop varieties are as prized and sought after as grape varieties and London is awash with boutique craft beer bars.
In fact, London has more small craft breweries now than at any other time in it’s history so it is fitting that the Ale and Arty festival showcased some of its very best, alongside some fine Sussex examples from Franklins, Brighton Bier and the stunning Burning Sky brewery at Firle.
The beers were complimented by a good variety of quality music over the two day event.
