Bell Hotel fundraiser for hospice

This will be a day of activity including live music, a barbecue, and a grand raffle.

Local favourites Andy Blood and the Donors will be performing, and there will be a bouncy castle as well as stalls set up in the beer garden.

The event is the idea of Councillor Charlie Clarke who commented: "We are hoping to raise 1,000 on the day. Pub regulars and Bell Hotel manager Rick Cowlard are helping me organise the event.

"We cannot let up on fundraising events for the hospice - they need every penny."
