The money will be used for research into the causes of Multiple Sclerosis and possible treatments to slow the progress and onset of the condition.

Michael Warden, whose wife suffers from MS, held his first event in 2013 supplying tea, coffee and cake and was assisted by Liz Nichols and Lou Freezer.

The following year his daughter, Chris Warden, suggested that craft stalls would draw more people to the event.

It has now had its best year and is proving very popular with local crafters, displaying a wide range of crafts and gifts and complemented by children’s games and face painting. A great deal of the prizes were donated by generous local businesses and the crafters at the event.
