The fair, which is the latest in the series, regularly attracts around 30 different stallholders displaying a wide range of items, made and produced by talented locals. These include artwork, along with cards, jewellery, knitted and sewn items for babies, adults and the home, preserves, toiletries, and more.

A church spokesperson said this year the fairs welcome a new organiser, who will be bringing her own ‘foodie’ interests with her.

“So for Valentine’s Day that same weekend, this is a chance to purchase freshly made macaroons, chocolate treats such as Florentines, etc. as a special gift.” Adding: “And all the stallholders will always make something special to order for birthdays and other celebrations.”

These events are run to raise money towards the restoration of the listed church building.

Entrance to the fair is free, and refreshments are served throughout the event.
