Bexhill Collegehosts two pupil open evenings

Principal Karen Hucker said the Open Evenings, to be held on Wednesday October 22 and Tuesday November 4, 6pm-8.30pm, are a great way for current Year 11 students and their families to see the modern facilities, meet students and tutors and find out what’s on offer for 16 to 19 years olds. She said: “Our open evenings are the perfect opportunity for students to learn about the many courses they can study at Bexhill College. Current students will be on hand to answer questions about college life and our tutors are there to give valuable insights into their subjects.”

Bexhill College boasts an unmatched record of success locally and the widest choice of A Levels, BTEC Extended Diplomas and the International Baccalaureate in the area.

Ms Hucker said: “We have surpassed the national average for A Level results for 21 consecutive years and helped tens of thousands of students achieve their full potential during that time.”

Bexhill College’s invitations to the Open Evenings give a prolific message to all students saying, ‘Everyone has a hero inside them’ - encouraging the young to let Bexhill College unleash that hero within.

The college offers a vast range of full-time courses covering many subjects including Art, Archeology, Business studies and Computing to Media Studies, Law, Music, and Performing Arts.

Ms Hucker added: “We look forward to welcoming everyone to our Open Evenings and meeting the next students we will be helping to reach their potential from September 2015.”

It is not necessary to book in order to attend the Open Evenings. Parking is available on the college’s Penland Road site or at Saint Mary Magdalen Primary School on Hastings Road.
