Bexhill FM is back

Bexhill's own radio station, Bexhill FM, starts its annual broadcast on Saturday 11th of July right through to Friday July 17.

Run by Bexhill High School and associated schools in the area, the broadcast this year is not one to be missed, as Richard Harris, station manager, said: "Bexhill FM gives young people an opportunity to broadcast to Bexhill and to develop themselves into true radio professionals.

"It's the 7th year we have run this project and it gets better every year.

"I am so proud of everyone involved, the diverse mix of music and chat turns it into a production that is something Bexhill will enjoy."

Playing all types of music, Bexhill FM provides three main shows, headed by Richard at Breakfast, Jonny "Ohhhh Jonny" Higgins at Lunchtime, and Emma Brockhurst and James Rogers at Drive, as well as several twilight shows during the hours of 7am to 7pm - giving everyone a chance to present their own program.

Bexhill FM are also self promoting via the website "twitter" (http://www.twitter.com/bexhillfm) and a Facebook Event.
