Bexhill Lions help club have day out

Nick Porter, Chair of the Lions’ Community Service Committee, said: “Seeing the great job that the club does for its members, we were delighted to help them. We decided to fund the hire of a coach to enabled the members to have their day out.”

In July, Lion President Paul Fleming and Lion June Hough gave The Golden Marigold Club, which meets at Parkhurst Hall on Mondays 9.30-2pm, a big surprise. They called in with a cheque for £200.00 which was presented to Frances Rowland. The money was used to hire a coach to take all clients to Alfriston W.I. for a cream tea in August.
