Bexhill rape 'made up'
POLICE have said tonight they have called off the hunt for a rapist in Bexhill.
Last week we reported how two hooded men raped a teenager aged 17 at Barrack Road.
Police launched a huge manhunt.
They have just said that they now believe the crime did not happen - the girl who made up the story has been cautioned by police.
