Bexhill Trust £10,000 to rowers

It's the name of the boat which Row4Charity will use in the world's toughest rowing race having received 10,000 from the Bexhill Trust.

Brian Kentfield, Chairman of the Bexhill Trust, said: "The Bexhill Trust is proud to be the Principal Sponsor of the Row4Charity Team as they prepare for their epic 3500 mile race across the Indian Ocean.

"The inspiring dedication of the four local rowers reflects the ethos of the Bexhill Trust in its endeavour to encourage and support sporting, educational and charitable endeavour and challenge in Bexhill on Sea.

"The Trustees wish the crew of the Bexhill Trust Challenger fair winds and safe home to Mauritius.

The Bexhill Trust exists to "offer financial assistance for the advancement, in its broadest sense, of education, the relief of financial distress and for any other charitable purpose within the town of Bexhill on Sea."
