Bexhill VIP celebrates one year anniversary

Bexhill's Visitor Info Point is celebrating its first anniversary with a coffee morning event this weekend.

The Bexhill VIP, as it is sometimes known, opened at the Colonnade Coffee Shop over the May bank holiday last year.

Having obtained a lottery grant from Awards for All, the VIP now has broadband internet access as well as photocopying facilities and a new website at www.bexhillvip.com

It sells souvenirs, can arrange accomodation and gives reliable information on local tradesmen, owing its success to the team of volunteers who give up their time to run it.

The Bexhill VIP opens Friday - Sunday and Bank Holidays from 10.00am to 4.00pm. Anyone interested in helping the team or in celebrating the birthday is invited to the Colonnade Coffee Shop from 12noon on Friday, June 5.
