It is holding eight focused consultations which will provide BID members with an open forum to discuss and debate the future of Chichester city centre and the role BID will play.

Charlotte Wickins, BID manager, said: “It is important that our BID members talk to us and use these consultations as a forum to share their thoughts, opinions and ideas.

“By bringing street members together we hope to create more joined-up thinking, pairing of businesses and provide an open environment to allow for honest debate about what they feel Chichester city centre needs in the future and how the BID can help make this happen.”

Three consultations - for South Street, St Pancras & The Hornet, and eateries in the city centre - have already taken place, with more than 20 members represented.

The next session for North Street and North Gate businesses is Thursday, May 27 from 3pm until 5pm at the Chichester Harbour Hotel.

Other consultations include for businesses based at the Hornet on Thursday, June 2 at the Nags Head from 5.30pm until 6.30pm; and for East and West Street on Thursday, June 7 at Pallant House from 3pm until 5pm.
