The Big Green Cardigan, now in its third year, is set in countryside near Cripps Corner and, unlike many festivals, numbers are restricted to the hundreds rather than thousands.

Organiser Mick Hoad said: “The Big Green Cardigan is really an old school festival with no gimmicks.

The festival has no distinctive music style or theme and music on offer rangers from blues to klezmer, folk and world music.

Festival goers enjoyed more than 20 acts over the weekend including the acclaimed international act Le Tri Perdu, Marcus Bonfanti and The Carrivick Sisters.

Local acts included the Hastings Shanty Singers and the Buick Six.

People were also able to enjoy a locally brewed ale created especially for the festival by Catsfield brewery Full Moon.
