AN INFORMATION day will give Newhaven residents the chance to find out about regeneration plans for the town.
The Big Planning Event will feature developers, plans and councillors, with visitors being given the opportunity to make their views known.
It will take place on March 14 from 10am to 7pm in the Hillcrest Centre, Hillcrest Road.
Newhaven currently has three planning applications in the pipeline, with proposals including a combination of supermarkets, a new town square and revamping the riverside.
A spokesperson for Newhaven Town Council said: “Lewes District Council will be making a decision on the best development for Newhaven in May 2012.
“The Big Planning Event will be your opportunity to understand the developments that will be discussed in May.
