Festival founder Chris Liddiard said: “As someone already involved in the White Horse Folk Club and the annual Art on the Green show, I was approached by the Village Players with the idea of getting all the local arts groups together to create a festival for the communities around Rushlake Green.

“From those modest beginnings, the little arts festival project has gone from strength to strength and now encompasses visual arts, music, theatre, poetry, literature, craft, photography, pottery and dance – all created by local artists and arts groups.”

The printed programme is being distributed by volunteers and tickets are on sale as the festival pop-up box-office appears at Rushlake Green Village Stores, Rushlake Green Flower Show and the Horam Centre.

The Little Arts Festival runs August 19-28 in venues in and around Rushlake Green, from Bodle Street Green and Turners Green to Horam and Vines Cross.
