Bike security scheme
Anyone concerned about security can have their bike registered with Immobilise.com at Bexhill Police station on June 26.
Police officers will be marking up bicycles with the owner's postcode and house number using ultra-violet pens.
These will then be registered on the Immobilise website, which is the world's largest free register of possession ownership details and has 29 million members worldwide.
This will make it easier for police to track down the owners of bicycles if they are lost or found and handed in at Bexhill Police station.
