Biker hurt in crash
A motorcyclist was rushed to the Conquest Hospital on Thursday morning following a collision with a van in Wickham Avenue.
The accident happened at 10am and emergency services closed off access to Wickham Avenue at the junction with Sackville Road.
A spokesman for Sussex Police told the Observer it looked as though the biker might be suffering "serious injuries".
