BIKER SERIOUSLY HURT
A motor-cyclist was seriously injured on Monday night near Lewes.
At about 8pm on the A275 at Cooksbridge the biker travelling north, appeared to clip a central island and he fell from the machine.
The rider, a 39-year-old local man, was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton, with serious head injuries.
