The village’s charming Miller Barn was decorated with delicate handmade bunting, as well as tea cosies and bone china to complete the vintage feel.

Kerry also served cream teas and dainty sandwiches, which were enjoyed by all on the day.

Attended by the local community, friends, and family, it was a memorable day for all those who attended.

Accommodating 60 people at any one time, it is fair to say that the team had their hands full at this anniversary event.

However, this didn’t stop everyone from having a good time, with entertainment supplied by various performers.

David Moore began at 11am, playing the saxophone.

He was soon followed by Steel Drummers, before the show was brought to a close by the sensational Robbie the Magician, who captivated both children and adults. All the performers made the day special, and Kerry described the event as a “party”.

While discussing advice she would give to other businesses, Kerry said: “Be happy in what you do, and have the best staff working for you”.

Kerry’s tearoom can be found at 45 Sea Road. For more information, call 01903 776278.
