BEACH CLEAN: Tide Mills Community Beach Clean is on Sunday from 10am to noon. Meet at the beach end of Mill Drove (off the A259). Come along, grab a bag and a litter picker, and help clean up the area for visitors and the local wildlife.

CRAFTY YARNS: Is on Wednesday, from 2pm to 4pm in Bishopstone Parish Hall. A group created for pursuing your favourite craft in the company of others, or just come for a cup of tea. Cost per session £2.

MEETING: St Andrew’s Annual Parochial Church Meeting is on Sunday, April 24, at 11.40am in Bishopstone Parish Hall.

COFFEE MORNING: There will be no last Friday of the month Bishopstone Coffee Morning in April. The next one will be on Friday, May 27.

MAY FAIR: The village May Fair is on Saturday, April 30, from noon to 4 pm on the village green. Please help by donating cakes, bric-a-brac, craft items, mugs, toys, DVD’s, CD’s, mugs, books, suitable bottles and plants. Also, gifts needed for the tombola and adult-size clothes and long poles for the scarecrows. Items can be left at Linda’s Stores, Eadric House or 96, Hurdis Road.

FREE HORSE MANURE: Is still available on west (Newhaven) side of Bishopstone Road between Bishopstone Estate and Bishopstone Pond: help yourself, but please return or replace the bags.
