Bishopstone garden open for charity this weekend

A GARDEN in Bishopstone will open for the final weekend of Lewes District Artwave Festival this weekened to raise money for Macmillan.

So far owner Geoff Stonebanks has generated more than £1,200 for the charity by opening his beautiful garden to the public this summer.

The money will go towards the new cancer support centre at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton which Macmillan is building.

Rachel David Fundraising Manager for Macmillan Sussex will be doing the draw at 4pm on Sunday 11th in the garden.

Katie Green a mosaic artist has donated a fabulous piece as first prize in the draw.

Artwave, Lewes District Art Festival Open 1200 to 1700 both days. FREE entry, but donations requested in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. Garden open as part of Artwave Open House Season with 10 different artists displaying their work in the garden this year.

Teas, coffees and cup cakes sold with all proceeds to Macmillan Cancer Support. Draw for Macmillan raffle at 4pm Sunday 11th.
