THE TRADITIONAL village fair returns to Bishopstone on Saturday April 30 where visitors can take part in have a go maypole dancing.
Welly throwing, hoopla and tombola will be amongst the other activities at the event which takes place on the village green behind St Andrew’s Church from 1pm to 4pm.
Lewes Glynde and Beddingham Brass band will make a welcome return and children from the Wendy Mann School of Performing Arts will dance too.
Stalls will include cake, plants, books and toys.
There will be displays of birds of prey and a model railway.
Visitors can also tuck into barbecue food, homemade cake and ice cream.
A local art group will exhibit their work in St Andrew’s Church.
Money raised will go towards the maintenance and insurance of the hall.
