Steven Sparks believes the sign to Dacres, on the C7 Kingston Road, Lewes, was stolen between Wednesday (November 28) and today (Thursday, November 29).

Overall, it measures 77cm by 30cm with grey powder-coated metal attached by four bolts to a cedar wood backing with three metal bars, which were fixed in the ground.

Mr Sparks contacted the Sussex Express and said: “The sign has no value to anyone other than us and we would appreciate its return and your help.”

He has asked readers to check hedgerows, verges and gardens while out and about. He can be contacted on 07710 900224.
