Jonathan Ramsden, animal welfare assistant at Blue Cross in Northiam, said: “Once again, our summer fun day was a great success, thanks to all our fantastic supporters. All our visitors – two-legged and four-legged – had a great time and we raised a brilliant total of over £1,600, which will all go towards the care of the homeless cats and dogs here at the centre.”

Mel Buxton, who runs agility classes from the Northiam Centre on Saturday mornings, guided dogs and their owners through a basic agility course.
