The Trust was set up in memory of Peasmarsh schoolboy Oliver, who died, aged nine from a rare condition.

It provides respite holidays for families with sick children.

The money was raised by selling wild boar hotdogs at the Hog Roast and Wine Raffle at Olde Worlde Wines in Cinque Ports Street.

As part of the Festival, a Halloween Ball takes place on Friday 31 at the Milligan Theatre with live music from The Rhythm Doctors and 1066 Rockitt Men and a prize for the best fancy dress.

There is still time for children to go on a Wild Boar Hunt with over 100 shops and businesses in the town displaying John Izod’s wild boar artwork in their windows to track down and win a chocolate prize.
