Railway tickets: if anyone would like to come to Bodiam by the Kent and East Sussex Railway with a travel card tickets are £18 adults, £12 for children, £38 for a family which is two adults and up to 3 children or one adult and up to 4 children and you can get discounted entry to Bodiam Castle with your ticket.

Five aside football: a weekly five aside football takes place at Claremont sports Hall every Thursday night at 7 PM. Call James on (01580) 830330.

Parish supper: do not forget the Bodiam parish supper at the Hub on Wednesday, March 29, at 7:30 PM with nibbles, a main course and pudding. Guests will be seated at a long communal table. Tickets are £14.50 per head and wine will be sold by the glass or bottle. For tickets and more information contact Kate on (01580) 830868.

David Lawrence: sorry to hear that yet one more member of Guinness Hop Farms has died. David Lawrence for some years worked for the Guinness family. Condolences to David’s family.

Community friends AGM: Bodiam Community Friends AGM will be on the 19th at 6 PM at the Castle Inn. At the last meeting a letter from Jenny Liverton with her resignation was accepted with regret. Grateful thanks Jenny all your hard work in the past.

Parish council: the next meeting of podium parish council is on March 27 at 7 PM in the parish rooms.
