Parish news jokes: I'm very happy that the editor of the parish news has some jokes in hoping to provoke laughter. I liked them but to the best are: Weight Watchers will meet at 7 PM in the first Presbyterian Church. Please use the large double doors at the side entrance and don't let worry kill you off - let the church help.

Waste collection: I’m sure the Bodiam has had the waste and recycling collection calendar 2017. Our normal collection day is a Wednesday but when it comes to December 28 the collection is December 29 this year. Please ensure that containers are put out of the edge of your property by 7 AM on the day of collection.

Bus times: I have the bus times for the Christmas and New Year period and as I understand it there are no 349 services on December 25, 26, of 27. There is a normal service from the 28th to the 31st. No service January 1,and second. Normal service resumed on January 3.
