Football: Five-a-side football takes place every Thursday night at 7pm at Claremnont Sports Hall. Call James on 01580 830330 or more information.

Parish Council: The Bodiam Parish Council works every day of the year but the first meeting for 2017 will be the precept meeting on January 9 at 7pm. There is a full parish council meeting on January 23 at 7pm.

Community Friends: Bodiam Community Friends is still with us for all Bodiam residents that may need a little help with transport, gardening, shopping, collecting prescriptions and small jobs like changing a light bulb. Call 07791 402571.

Helicopter push: The great helicopter push in memory of Tony Kerry managed to push and pull the helicopter 24 miles uphill and downhill on Main roads and small roads, calling in at most of the hostelries along the way, such as The Castle Inn. In the end they raised over £34,000 for two worthwhile charities. Kent Air Ambulance and The Stroke Association. A big thank you to all who supported them on the two days.

Mobile Library: The mobile Library will be in Levetts Lane on December 22 from 11.30 - 11.55am.
