The village cricket club is away to Newick on September 20 with a start of 1 PM. Results to date are July 12 Bodiam 146 for 9. July 19; the Weald 196 for 6, Bodiam 195. July 26 away to Hadlow Down cancelled. August 2; Burwash 86 for 4, Bodiam 83.

The next service at St Giles’ is on September 20 at 11:15 AM and will be holy communion. The vicar of Bodiam will take the service. Do please phone with any questions about baptisms, weddings and other matters or just to hear one of his jokes. You can come to the Parish assembly in March to hear them

Many people travel around National trust properties at Bodiam people rate the scones as the best. Sorry, National Trust, I rate to the sausage rolls as the best in East Sussex but would like to see them come down in price but perhaps that would make me eat more of them

Bodiam Church of England Primary School is to have a harvest festival on October 6 at 9:30 in Saint Giles’s Church. Everyone is most welcome.
