Congratulations: to Phyllis Landels from Levetts Lane who has had a happy event. Phyllis did not know a lot about it but I am sure her grand-daughter did, she had a 9lb baby boy. Congratulations to all.

St Giles: Next service at St Giles is Holy Communion at 11.15a.m. on the 21st June, the Revd Graham Atfield will take the service. As St Giles do not have an organist the organ needs to be exercised and played regularly, please switch it on, you could be the Mick Jagger of Bodiam.

Cricket: The Cricket Club are away to a touring team on the 21st June at 2.30p.m. The fixture will take place at Iden.

Mobile Library: will be in Levetts Lane on the 25th June from 11.10 - 11.40a.m.

Kevin Dale: Sorry to hear the Kevin Dale has died. The Dale family did a lot for the Village and the Church in past years. Kevin and his family had a home in Crowhurst. Condolences go to his family at this sad time.

Classic Car Show: Big weekend for Bodiam on the 21st June from 10a.m. to 5p.m. on the Recreation Ground, Senlac Rotary Club Classic Car Show takes place and the National Trust Bodiam Castle is to have a BBQ also on the 21st June from 12p.m. - 2p.m. Hope the National Trust have the right number of Staff on duty, in fact, hope that both National Trust and Senlac do!
