Parish News: The Parish News has a new editorial contact - Liz Moore, of Meadow Cottage, Rye Road, Hawkhurst, Kent, TN18 SDW. Liz would welcome contributions from schools, clubs, and organisations in the parish. We must express sincere thanks to the past Parish News editor Karen Wake. All contributions must be with Liz no later than the 10th of each month.

Parish Council: The next meeting of the parish council is on January 19 at 7pm in the Parish Room. The people of Bodiam are most welcome to come and hear what the parish council gets up to. Please do not stay at home and watch Coronation Street.

St Giles: The next service at St Giles is Holy Communion at 11.15am on January 18 and following that a Family Service on February 1 at 11.15am

Library: The mobile library will now come to Levetts Lane every three weeks from 11.15am - 11.45am. The next date is Thursday January 22.

Primary School: There is some very sad news from Bodiam Church of England Primary School. There will be no football club at the school this term. The school has been making a loss on the football club and can no longer afford to run it if they do not have enough children signed up at the beginning of term. The governing body of the primary school are seeking to appoint a self-motivated and friendly staff member to join the current team. Call the school on 01580 830342 for more information.
