Harvest Festival: Don’t forget that St Giles Church holds its Harvest Festival on October 5 at 11.15am. Bodiam vicar Gordon will be taking the service.
Football: As I write FC Westridge, who play at the recreation ground, sit proudly on top of Division 6 and it could be their year. They beat Hampden Park United at home 4 - 0 and won 4 - 2 against Battle.
Library: The next date for the mobile library visiting will be October 2 from 3.05pm - 3.20pm at Levetts Lane.
