Bodiam

Congratulations to Jan Reeve of the National Trust shop at Bodiam Castle. Jan has received a long service award for her ten years of hard work.

By the time you read this, William Past and his family will not have a home in Bodiam. We have had a past in Bodiam that goes back to 1917. Is it sad we will not have a past in Bodiam. William is confident that his career as a model will take off soon.

The next service at St Giles will be the family service at 11.15am on May 4, with refreshments.

What a resident AmicusHorizon have in Phyllis Landels, who was to go out on the last Levetts Lane neighbourhood inspection, but she put the inspection first and went out in the afternoon. We need more Phyllis’.

The chairman of Rother District Council Cllr Ian Jenkins is to have a chairman’s end of term thank you reception at the Wharf Tea Room, Bodiam Castle. I must say about Ian and his wife, he has not forgotten the small villages in Rother like Bodiam. He came to a parish council meeting at Bodiam and went away and felt that Bodiam was one of the best parish council’s around and what a chairman. Thanks Ian for your work and must not forget the wife as we do sometimes forget the lady in ones life.
