Bodiam

Geoffrey Goodsell, 13 Levetts Lane

The other Wednesday an open meeting took place at our church of England Primary school about road safety around the school, with our PCSO Demi to provide his expertise and knowledge, but what a poor turn our! Only 2 people attended the meeting, one of whom was a parent. One parent sent an apology with useful written comments, which have since been passed to Demi. Perhaps, after Christmas the school may have another meeting. Also we don’t want to lose the talking bus. Young Pam and her team always see the children into school. Please also ask at the office for further details. it was good to hear that the children made a pound contribution for a non uniform day in aid of Children in Need.

We must not forget our brave servicemen, but I fell that Bodiam did forget them on Remembrance Sunday at the village war memorial. What a poor turnout. Every day our servicemen put their lives on the line for us to be free, Bodiam Church of England primary School governors meet on November 27 around 5.30pm in the school hall.

The mobile library comes to Levetts lane on November 28 from 3pm to 3.25pm.
