CLAREMONT School are to sing carols at the Castle Inn on December 3 at 6pm. All are welcome and we all hope it will not be a silent night.

The next meeting of the Parish Council will be on December 3 at 7pm in the Parish Room this will be the last meeting before Christmas. The New Year meeting is on January 21 and will be at 7pm and in the Parish Room.

Happy birthday to one of our OAPs in Levetts Lane, Tony Landels, who is not in the best of health, but you can still sometimes see him out and about. Have a great day Tony on November 30.

The planting of the Jubilee Oak took place on a wet day. The previous clerk of more than 30 years to Bodiam Parish Council, Heather, planted the oak tree. It will be the best. It was good to see Claremont Senior School at the event, but not anyone from the Church of England primary school.
