THE cricket club takes on Brede on September 9, away, start at 1pm.

Time goes so fast. Four more fixtures until the end of the season. The last fixture is away to Crowhurst on October 7. For me, one of the best grounds around.

George Bailey, the number one at Bodiam Castle, had an accident in Bodiam the other Sunday. George and his son did not suffer any injuries, I’m glad to say. George puts in a lot of unpaid work for the local groups. At this time he was just about to go off and do his good works. But George will still go on. Thank you George. There are not enough George Bailey’s around.

What a great day Bodiam Pre-School had on the fun day. The group had a stall and made £98.35. Also the boot sale made £59.47. A big thank you to all the support and many thanks to all who put their hands in their pockets.
