What a happy afternoon was had at the Bodiam Preschool Olympic sports event in Dokes Field with the staff who put a lot of hard work i for the vent. Our local PSO Demi made the presentation on behalf of Sussex Police to the chairman from the police property fund of £200. Money received from confiscated property is sold for the fund.

I am sure all of Bodiam had the voter registration form. We have Police Commissioner elections on November 1, East Sussex County Council elections in 2013, European elections in 2014 and Rother District elections in 2015. I just hope I can take the pressure!

All the residents of Amicus Horizon had a letter from Housing Officer Mark Lapierre about her neighbourhood inspection of Levetts Lane. Marie did not do the inspection, as she was on leave.

Some of the residents of Bodiam and I do ask when will life start to be fair to them. Do not let your illness defeat you. You have the support of many.

How nice St Giles Flower Festival was. Not overdone - just right. The floral displays down the church path and the churchyard look its best. Thank you to all who helped in so many ways to make this festival a success.

The Parish Council meets on July 23 in the Parish Room.
