Police say the man’s body was found washed up on the beach, close to the mouth of the River Cuckmere, at about 10am today.
Emergency services including police, Coastguard teams, and RNLI crews were called to the scene.
The man has not yet been identified, according to police, but his death is not being treated as suspicious at this time.
No further information has been released.
