Body discovered near Littlehaven Station named

The body of a man discovered on the tracks near Littlehaven Station has been named.

A spokesman for the Coroners Office said the man has been identified as Anthony Ransom, 22, from Horsham.

He was discovered at a foot crossing near a play area in Amberley Close, Horsham, on Thursday November 26.

The British Transport Police said he was found by a young boy at around 8.45am. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Train services were cancelled between Horsham and Three Bridges due to the incident.

A date for an inquest has not been confirmed.
