BODY FOUND ON COAST

The body of a man found at Birling Gap on Monday (June 5) has been indentified.

The East Sussex Coroner's officer said he was Ian Aliff Rider, aged 46, of Queens Park Road, Brighton.

His death is not being treated as suspicious.

In his statement his family said he used to work West Instruments for 26 years.

"After suffering from a mental breakdown fouryears ago he could no longer work for them. He has fought schizophrenia since then, after losing his flat he has been relatively homeless for the last threeyears," the statement said.
