Bognor businesses licence warning

Businesses in the Bognor Regis area who want to stop, watch and cheer for team GB this summer have been reminded to make sure they are licensed to catch the action.

With more than 2,500 hours of live Olympic coverage being shown over 17 days of the games, TV Licensing is encouraging businesses to check they are licensed before tuning in.

A licence is legally required if anyone – either staff or customers - watches programmes at the same time as they are shown on television.

If an employee is caught watching TV illegally, the business may be held liable and fined up to £1,000.
