Bognor group told about airfield history

A complete history of Tangmere Airfield will be covered in a talk in Bognor Regis.

Pete Pullman and Dave Coxon, of the Tangmere Air Museum, will be speaking about all aspects of the famous site.

Among the topics included in their presentation will be the airfield's origins, Tangmere during the wars and since the second world war.

Doors open at 7.30pm on July 16 for an 8pm start at the RAFA Club in Waterloo Square.

Entrance for RAFA members is 50p and 1.50 for non-members.

The tickets can be bought in advance from the club or on the evening.
