Bognor police warn of pet-selling scam

POLICE have warned residents in the Bognor Regis area against a puppy selling scam.

The warning from Bognor police follows an incident when a resident responded to an advert for puppies being sold.

The resident sent money (approximately £190) through to a male at an address abroad.

He was contacted again for a further request of £50 for insurance which they did not pay.

Police advice is not to send any money in response to adverts of this nature, check the persons are reputable, and report any suspicious incidents.
