Bognor Regis Beavers celebrate 25 years

A QUARTER of a century of Beaver Scouts in Bognor Regis was celebrated at a party.

A total of 81 Beavers attended the event with a barbecue, birthday cake, campfire singing and a show by Malcolm the Magician; the party ended with the launch of 50 helium balloons.

Also present was county commissioner John Spickett who presented Barbara O’Connor, a Beaver colony leader at 11th Bognor Scout group, with the Chief Scout Commendation award. Several Beavers were awarded their bronze award, the highest award they can achieve.
