Bognor Regis school secretary says farewell

Sue Foden has retired from The Glade Infant School, where she has been secretary for 25 years.

During that time she had seen 3,740 childred begin their education at the Westloats Lane premises '“ and some of them are parents of youngsters now on the school roll.

Mrs Foden said: "I've got mixed feelings about going but I'm 65 and it's the right time to retire and for someone new to come in.

"I've loved working here. Every day has been different and never really changes. They are as lovely as ever. That is one of the big things I shall miss."
