Bognor woman assaulted in early morning

The injured female was admitted to St Richard’s Hospital in Chichester with facial injuries.

She was assaulted at an address in Nyewood Lane earlier that morning. Her injuries are not life threatening.

Police received a call from an ambulance crew at 6.15am on June 11 to report the assault at the property.

Police are conducting enquiries in the area and are seeking a 31-year-old local woman in connection with the incident. She is known to the victim.
