Bognor woman killed in Flansham crash is named

POLICE have named the 75-year-old woman from Bognor who was killed in an accident at Flansham on Sunday.

She has been named as Diana Robinson, of Middleton Road, Bognor.

She was driving a red Nissan and her passenger, and 80-year-old man also from Bognor, suffered a fractured pelvis and was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton.

The driver of the VW van, a 54-year-old man from Tangmere, near Chichester, suffered leg and throat injuries and was taken to St George’s Hospital, London.

The serious accident happened just after 4.30pm on Sunday, May 3 on Worms Lane.

Police are appealing for witnesses.
