Bognor youngsters design their way to awards

Two young library users from the Bognor Regis area used their creativity to win prizes.

Max Fletcher (10), and Lauren Millar (13), were chosen as runners-up in their age groups in a countywide contest to create a new children's library membership card.

Max's colourful creation was based around a training shoe against a background of the sun and moon.

Lauren's artwork comprises an open book with all the services that are available at libraries surrounded by a multi-coloured pattern.

She and Max were each presented with a certificate, a 10 book voucher and a copy of the poster showing their competition entry by town mayor Cllr Jennifer Gillibrand in a ceremony at the town's library.
