Bolney Coach fire
COACH PASSENGERS were evacuated after a fire broke out in the engine compartment as they travelled through Bolney on Monday September 19.
Fire crews from Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill arrived on the scene at around 9.20am.
A spokesperson for Sussex Police said: “Police attended the scene and controlled traffic. There were no injuries and the cause was accidental. Another coach came and picked up the passengers.”
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service say the fire is being treated as ‘accidental’.
