Book now for brass band concert

The annual ‘Nearly Burns Night’ concert, by Sussex Brass, raises much needed funds for Macmillan Cancer Support and has sold-out in previous years.

This year’s concert has been lined up for Friday January 24 at 7.45pm.

Tickets are priced £6.50 and include refreshments on arrival.

They are available in advance from Beckley Motors in the village, or by calling 0845 8332825.

Conrad Freezer, from Rye and District Lions, said: “This is the premier brass band on the south coast and we would advise people to get their tickets as soon as possible as the concert has been fully booked for the last seven years.”

The Lions are holding Christmas collections outside Jempsons at Peasmarsh and Budgens at Rye.
