Boost in taxes for Pagham

A 4.7 per cent increase in their share of the council tax bill has been agreed by Pagham's parish councillors.

The unanimous backing for the inflation-busting rise will mean the amount paid to the council by a band D property owner will be 31.12 in the coming year.

The council's total budget during the 12 months from April was set at 81,701 after a short debate by council members.
